Jenna: 45 minute full body circuit

I made it to the gym at lunch today and took a total body circuit class. The teacher was a sub, so I wasn’t sure what to expect.

I was HURTING during this, which was just what I needed. You can complete this in under 45 minutes, and I can promise it’ll kick your butt 😉

I’d suggest grabbing 2 to 3 different sets of dumbbells because your muscles will start to fatigue.

I’ve listed the exercises in sets. So using set 1 as an example:  Alternating bicep curls for a minute, take a 20 second rest. Then do Hammer curls for a minute.  Rest for a minute. Repeat. Then on to the next muscle group.

Alternating bicep curls
Hammer curls

Tricep kickbacks
Tricep extensions

Shoulder flies
Shoulder shrugs

Deadlifts

Alternating lunges (with weights)
Squats (with weights)

Regular crunches
V Ups

Streeettccchhh. You’ll need it.

  1. I LOVE new workouts! I’ll do this tonight as soon as I get home from work. I’ve been missing the dumbbells lately. I will substitute something else for the abs due to a protruding tail bone (crunches give me a butt blister – no thanks, LOL)
