Even though it is super cold, I will still crave ice cream or frozen yogurt. I think this winter is getting to me, and in the evenings I am just bored. There’s only so much SVU you can watch, and tea your can drink. I just want to go ride my bike!
The other night, I really wanted ice cream. I knew this wasn’t a great choice and I was really just bored. I went searching in the fridge for something a little lighter. Enter: the smoothie bowl.
I threw the following into my blender:
4 oz of almond/coconut milk
1/2 frozen banana
2 big handfuls of spinach
1/2 cup of blueberries
I poured it into a bowl and sprinkled some granola on top (that is usually my frozen yogurt topping of choice).
CRAVING = SATISFIED.
