We have a new manager at our work gym, and she’s been shaking things up. When it comes to fitness, this is ALWAYS a good idea. Train the same, remain the same- one of my favorite mantras.
Anyway, she has been posting a weekly challenge. You complete it on your own, and then write your name and time on the board. Here was this weeks:
40 bicycle crunches (each side) : these were a killer since my core is always sore since I’ve been trying to focus on this area
20 squat jumps –> I did the first round of these like frog jumps and regretted it immediately. Slow and steady wins the race sometimes…
1 mile on the bike
I am super competitive, so I was flying through it. There was a woman that started a little after me, and told me afterwards that my hustle kept her motivated and inspired. That really put a smile on my face.
I completed the two rounds in eleven minutes and one second.
My friend Courtney beat me by 3o seconds! We have a little healthy competition going, and I love that.
