As it gets warmer, I find myself wanting ice cream and frozen yogurt. All the time.
I had a serious craving tonight, and decided to try to whip something up myself. I have seen different versions of this floating around Pinterest but had never actually tried it.
A frozen banana (I cut in half, but after the fact it occurs to me that if you chopped this into chunks, it would probably be easier), 4-5 tablespoons (depending on the consistency you want) of unsweetened almond milk, and 1/2 a tsp on peanut butter went into the food processor.
This is seriously awesome. It satisfied my sweet tooth and craving for something cold. The combinations are endless! You definitely don’t need the peanut butter and could add honey, cinnamon, sea salt, chocolate…anything you want!
It is quick, easy, clean, vegan, gluten free, and dog friendly! woof!
